OUR COMMITMENT

profile
My family has been involved in the tank business for over 60 years. My grandfather, Richard D. Hall, started Hall Tank Company in 1952, building a well-respected reputation for consistently providing:

  • High quality tanks
  • At a fair price
  • With on-time delivery

The Hall Tank Team of today is committed to upholding my Grandfather’s legacy. Our engineers focus on the smallest of detail to insure a proper fit every time. Our logistics department works with state-of-the art technology to provide a safe and smooth delivery. And we’ve perfected the ability to acquire the best raw materials at fair market pricing, enabling Hall Tank to keep its prices low.

As the third generation Hall to oversee this company, the single most important goal I have is to “carry the Hall Tank torch” well into the future. We stand behind the products we build and the service we provide. You have my “name” and “word” on that!

ABOUT THE STI AWARDS:

The Steel Tank Institute, Division of STI/SPFA began the practice of recognizing outstanding quality in its members’ fabrication facilities in 1996 when The Steel Tank Institute acknowledged members in its Shop Fabricated Atmospheric Tank Section. Members of this Section fabricate steel atmospheric tanks up to 50,000 gallons for underground or aboveground storage of petroleum and hazardous liquids.

Members are subject to periodic, unannounced inspections by a team of STI/SPFA Inspection Consultants, in addition to other inspections performed by Underwriters Laboratories and Southwest Research Institute, depending upon the type of tanks fabricated.

The STI/SPFA Inspection Consultants conduct a rigorous investigation of the manufacturing function, to ensure that companies are following all of the requirements of the STI/SPFA Standards for fabrication of tanks such as the:

  • Underground Storage Tanks
  • sti-P3® Cathodically Protected Steel UST
  • ACT-100® Composite Steel UST
  • ACT-100U® Thick Urethane Composite Steel UST
  • AquaSweep Gravity Oil/Water Separator

  • F921® Double Wall Steel AST
  • Flameshield® Double Wall Steel Fire Tested AST
  • Fireguard® Protected AST
  • Generator Base Tanks
  • Permatank® Steel and Fiberglass Double Wall Jacketed UST

Quality Award Winners are chosen based upon above-average ratings for these random inspections and fabricators are required to produce a minimum number of fabricated units to qualify as a Quality Award recipient.

Awards are presented annually to qualifying members.
